What you will do

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable Azure infrastructure for distributed radar systems.
• Develop high-performance backend services for real-time sensor data ingestion and distribution.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automate deployments using modern DevOps practices.
• Manage observability, monitoring, and resiliency to ensure production system stability.
• Shape the platform's technical direction and architectural decisions for long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to deliver end-to-end capabilities.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or permanent resident).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Strong engineering fundamentals in scalable backend systems and distributed systems.
• Experience taking ownership of production services and solving complex infrastructure problems.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and modern backend development.
• Proficiency with Azure or other major cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD.
• Experience with real-time data pipelines.
• Frontend skills using TypeScript or React.
