What you will do

• Design electrical board assemblies and select components based on mission, electrical, thermal, and mechanical needs.
• Perform board layout, sourcing, purchasing, programming, testing, and debugging.
• Perform RF link budget and bandwidth analyses to design the RF chain.
• Implement encoding and compression algorithms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
• Experience with Altium.
• Working knowledge of RF hardware (radios, SDRs, antennas, amplifiers).
• Experience with UAS-relevant radios such as RFD, Microhard, or Silvus.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and may be subject to a government security clearance process.

Nice to have

• Experience with SDR, GNSS, FPGAs, radars, or optical sensors.
• Experience with compression algorithms and encoding methods.
• Comfort with Jira.
