Manager, Software Test & Project Support (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead a team of software engineers designing and developing the Axiom Software test framework.
• Provide team leadership for software testing, validation, and verification of Axiom flight software.
• Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, software safety specialists, architects, and hardware test teams.
• Identify opportunities for test automation, technology advancement, cost savings, and schedule improvements.
• Plan deliverables against milestones and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
• Implement and maintain agile project management methods and improve product and team development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise designing and implementing scalable test frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, and Bash.
• Proven ability to lead software teams and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Eligibility for access to export-controlled technical data may require additional U.S. export control screening under NASA regulations, ITAR, or EAR; meeting these requirements is a condition of employment. Willingness to work evenings and weekends when required by critical project milestones is also required.
