Tools and Automation Software Engineer (C++/C#/Python)

What you will do

• Define and maintain architecture for command, control, and data analysis applications.
• Lead projects from concept and proposals through design validation and manufacturing launch.
• Develop automation and support applications for GPS receivers.
• Partner with systems, hardware, and software teams to turn complex requirements into high-performance implementations.
• Ensure documentation, configuration management, software build, release, and process quality standards are met.
• Address manufacturing and engineering challenges related to product testing and hardware verification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience developing PC desktop applications with Visual Studio .NET, C++ or C#, and Python 3.x.
• Experience with requirements-driven modular structured software architecture and design.
• Experience with configuration management tools, software build and release systems, relational databases, and GUI development.
• Experience in product test automation, device driver development, hardware verification, or a similar field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CMMI, DO-178, Waterfall, Iterative Spiral, or Agile development processes.
• Experience with Visual Basic.
