Staff Software Engineer (Azure/AWS)

Location: 100% remote within the United States; applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship. The company facility is located in Austin, Texas.

What you will do

• Architect and implement enterprise ETL and data processing systems across Azure and AWS using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, AWS Glue, Azure Data Lake, and Amazon S3.
• Lead migration of on-premises SQL Server and SSIS workloads to Azure Data Factory, including technical planning, pipeline conversion, dependency management, and QA validation.
• Design data models, ingestion frameworks, transformation logic, retention and archiving processes for CRM workflows and enterprise data services.
• Coordinate CRM data processing systems, including dealer data ingestion, reference data processing, customer access databases, and migration workflows.
• Define cloud integration for the Connected Communications Platform and lead implementation of the Master Data Management “Golden ID” solution.
• Provide architectural leadership, conduct reviews, mentor engineers, and guide cross-functional teams on cloud migration, data integration, security, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related occupation.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, relational and NoSQL database design, optimization, administration, and monitoring.
• Experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure cloud services, and enterprise ETL or data integration pipelines.
• Experience with ASP.NET, C#, VB, ADO.NET, Python, SSRS, SSAS, Snowflake, Power BI or Tableau, and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, TFS, Bitbucket, Liquibase, Terraform, Harness CI/CD, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
