Software Engineer - Analytical Platform Services (Python/.NET)

Location: Based at headquarters in the Greater Seattle area, with a hybrid work arrangement. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 per year, with some roles eligible for additional incentive pay and stock options.

What you will do

• Build notebook experiences for exploring, analyzing, and deriving insights from large-scale datasets.
• Develop and evolve Python and R SDKs for scalable data analysis.
• Design and build interactive dashboards for data visualization and sharing insights.
• Develop, deploy, and operate scalable cloud services, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Deliver secure, reliable, high-performance solutions across the full stack.
• Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to translate researcher needs into intuitive analytical experiences.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience building, deploying, and operating scalable cloud services with .NET (C#) and/or Python.
• Strong backend development experience with REST APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Working knowledge of modern frontend technologies and experience delivering end-to-end solutions in cross-functional teams.
• Current authorization to work in the United States for any employer is required; work visa or permit sponsorship is unavailable.

• Experience building developer tools, analytical applications, data platforms, or user-facing products for technical users.
