What you will do

• Own the engineering quality of the organization by evolving quality gates and providing risk-based reporting.
• Implement and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and manage the resolution process for incidents.
• Develop and integrate AI-assisted quality tooling, including AI testing agents and failure triage observers.
• Manage a team of Quality Engineers and deploy them into engineering squads to improve local quality.
• Drive a shift-left quality mindset and establish a cross-organizational Quality guild.
• Contribute hands-on code to test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in quality engineering roles.
• Must be based in London to support the hybrid work model.
• Proven experience running QA initiatives across an organization and managing senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience testing backends and frontends for B2C products at scale (millions of users).
• Proven track record of shipping AI tooling into a quality process.
• Experience managing a small team and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) for reliability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Datadog, Sentry, or incident.io for monitoring and incident management.
• Background in financial services or other regulated B2C environments.
• Mobile app testing experience with tools like Maestro or native iOS/Android.
