Engineering Portfolio Manager

TL;DR

Engineering Portfolio Manager: Managing the integrity, lifecycle, and delivery of complex engineering projects within a government AOR with an accent on cross-functional team coordination and stakeholder communication. Location: Must be based in Hampton, VA (Langley AFB) - Fully onsite position

Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 Annually

What you will do

• Manage project direction through design, implementation, and testing phases.
• Define requirements and plan the full project lifecycle deployment.
• Supervise multidisciplinary professional and technical support personnel.
• Coordinate tasks across team members and manage vendor deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and project objectives.
• Conduct project meetings and provide detailed tracking, analysis, and reporting.

Requirements

• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance
• Must be able to work fully onsite at Langley AFB, Hampton, VA
• 9+ years of relevant experience or commensurate background
• Strong experience managing complex product development dependencies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for reporting to all levels of management
• Proven ability to identify, mitigate, and escalate program risks

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS networks
• PMP or ITIL certifications
• Experience coordinating with diverse internal and external stakeholders
