Account Executive (SaaS)

Account Executive (SaaS): Driving growth for the Flourish data storytelling platform by building relationships and closing B2B deals with newsrooms, corporations, and NGOs. Focus on high-touch outbound prospecting, delivering tailored pitches, and managing the full sales cycle from discovery to contract negotiation.

Location: Must be based in the US (Austin, Texas campus operations). Remote/Hybrid options available.

What you will do

• Build relationships with potential customers and shape tailored Flourish solutions to match their needs.
• Execute high-touch outbound prospecting targeting newsrooms, government bodies, and global brands.
• Deliver pitches and presentations through a structured discovery process.
• Negotiate contracts in close collaboration with Legal and Security teams.
• Manage the sales pipeline via CRM and ensure seamless handover to the Success team.
• Partner with Marketing on events and campaigns to drive new business and inform the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B sales experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
• Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience initiating and leading conversations with senior stakeholders and multiple decision-makers.
• Ability to translate complex product features into simple, compelling customer stories.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a pipeline of opportunities.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience selling into media, broadcast, sports, or newsroom organizations.
• Experience with data visualization or audience-engagement content.
