What you will do

• Conduct audio and acoustical measurements across electrical and acoustical domains, focusing on frequency, distortion, and impedance.
• Perform measurements using HATS in anechoic and reverberant chambers to evaluate audio quality and speech intelligibility.
• Create, follow, and validate test procedures to provide result data for projects with tight timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional software, hardware, and UX teams to drive product specifications.
• Maintain and improve the functional laboratory environment.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with audio hardware testing.
• Proficiency with lab tools such as HATS, ACQUA, Audio Precision, or Listen Inc Soundcheck.
• Experience with scripting in MATLAB or Python.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Redmond, WA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hearing science and psychoacoustics.
• Experience with Klippel tools or laser displacement meters (Keyence, Polytec).
• Experience with Max scripting.
