What you will do

• Screen and analyze recorded acoustic data to develop signatures and tracks.
• Classify signals and perform platform noise and signature analysis.
• Process and report on sensor data to diagnose health and performance issues.
• Conduct acoustic reconstruction of operations to evaluate sonar effectiveness.
• Provide expert recommendations on system deployments and collection planning.
• Present technical analyses to senior stakeholders and internal working groups.

Requirements

• 10+ years of operational experience in sonar systems analysis.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for government security clearance.
• Demonstrated expertise in acoustic data screening, detection, and classification.
• Experience with platform noise analysis and technical measurement methods.
• Ability to develop collection plans and deliver briefings to senior leadership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Background as a submarine sonar technician or undersea surveillance analyst.
• Experience with surface ship and submarine anti-submarine warfare (ASW) operations.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python.
• Experience with sonar calibration trials and acoustic recording systems.
• Qualification as a Master Training Specialist.
