What you will do

• Manage employee lifecycle activities including recruiting, training, coaching, discipline, and termination while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and the provincial Health and Safety Act.
• Investigate safety incidents and implement actions to prevent recurrence; plan and coordinate field assignments to meet contractual and organizational expectations.
• Run regular toolbox talks and training sessions to improve staff skills and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain strong relationships with property managers, designated managers, and owners through proactive communication and collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate work processes, provide technical guidance, and ensure quality through clear oversight, documentation, and communication.
• Stay current with evolving elevator technology to support modernization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the elevator industry (mechanic or adjuster); supervisory experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of elevator field operations, specifically maintenance, modernization, and repair of technical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation specifications with strong mechanical and electrical comprehension.
• Proven aptitude with essential business software and ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technology.
• Experience in people management, including leading, inspiring, building trust, and gaining commitment from a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service, project management, and conflict resolution skills; ability to work effectively under pressure.
