Focus on scaling a high-performing team of scientists and researchers, setting technical direction, and driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.

Location: Must be based in New York City, NY. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Salary: $439,000 - $460,000

What you will do

• Lead and develop a world-class team of applied scientists, clinical researchers, and product managers.
• Own the roadmap, standards, and commercial performance of hirify.global Intelligence.
• Shape the most ambiguous technical problems by setting objective functions and decision frameworks.
• Direct investment strategies across machine learning, optimization, and heuristic methods.
• Partner with executive leadership across Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to align GHI with company strategy.
• Represent GHI as a technical authority both internally and externally.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in applied science, quantitative research, or machine learning.
• Proven track record of running an algorithms-driven organization as a business with full accountability for results.
• Extensive management experience, including managing managers and scaling high-performing technical teams.
• Deep quantitative problem-solving skills and strong judgment in selecting statistical and algorithmic methods.
• Executive communication skills with experience driving alignment across leadership and boards.
• Must be willing to work in the New York City office 3 days per week.
