What you will do

• Lead the technical design and hands-on development of AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and scalable serving frameworks.
• Define long-term architecture and engineering standards for Applied AI systems to ensure reliability and impact.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate high-value opportunities into roadmaps and shipped products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed robust governance, privacy, and security practices across the AI lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and improve code quality, observability, and performance of AI workloads.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and cost at scale while guiding vendor integrations and make/buy decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering complex, production-ready enterprise systems.
• Deep technical knowledge in AI/ML, including hands-on experience with language models, retrieval, embeddings, and vector search.
• Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business problems into robust AI products with measurable impact.
• Strong familiarity with security, privacy, compliance, and auditability for enterprise AI systems.
• Excellence in communication and stakeholder management to influence diverse teams.
• Must be willing to relocate to a center of gravity office.
