Senior Manager, Loads & Dynamics (Aerospace)

Salary: $207,000–$259,000 base pay annually

What you will do

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team covering loads analysis, dynamics, aeroelasticity, ASE, and rotordynamics for eVTOL aircraft.
• Set technical direction for loads and dynamics activities from preliminary design through certification.
• Own loads development processes and ensure compliance with 14 CFR Parts 23, 27, and 35.
• Oversee static and fatigue loads databases supporting airframe, engine, mechanical systems, and propeller design.
• Lead collaboration with aerodynamics, airframe, mass properties, flight dynamics, and propulsion teams.
• Develop and validate analysis toolchains, support FAA certification discussions, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 12+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Expertise in aircraft loads analysis, aeroelasticity, and structural dynamics.
• Background in rotorcraft and/or fixed-wing aircraft development.
• Experience managing technical teams and complex projects in fast-paced design environments.
• Knowledge of finite element modeling, structural analysis methods, and Python and/or MATLAB scripting for loads automation.
