What you will do

• Develop and maintain highly interactive UI components using vanilla JavaScript and Rails.
• Write idiomatic Ruby on Rails code using ActiveRecord, controllers, and ViewComponents.
• Analyze requirements through a "Jobs-to-be-Done" lens to ensure high product quality and handle edge cases.
• Collaborate via async channels and conduct thorough peer code reviews.
• Contribute to institutional memory by documenting non-obvious decisions and updating internal guides.

Requirements

• Deep proficiency in vanilla JavaScript for complex UI development.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL, including writing complex SQL (joins, aggregations).
• Consistent practice of writing automated tests using Minitest.
• Experience with semantic HTML, global CSS, and Hotwire (Turbo, Stimulus).
• Must be based in Latin America.
