Salary: $165,000–$175,000 per year

What you will do

• Execute the full spectrum of offensive operations, from initial infection vectors to final reporting.
• Develop and write targeted exploits, benign malware, and custom scripts using Python, Rust, or PowerShell.
• Simulate real-world adversarial TTPs to measure the effectiveness of people, processes, and technology.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of network and host data to identify threat patterns and potential vulnerabilities.
• Brief senior leadership on emulation findings and provide recommendations for enhancing defensive capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to map cyber key terrain and prioritize target lists.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required to start.
• 7+ years of experience in cyber offensive operations, red teaming, or penetration testing.
• Strong proficiency in technical report writing and ability to produce clear security incident briefings.
• Deep knowledge of attack stages, incident response, and adversarial TTPs.
• Experience developing rules, filters, signatures, and operationally relevant scripts.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment in Springfield, VA.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as OSCP, GPEN, GCIA, GCIH, or GREM.
• Experience with network threat hunting, Splunk, or SIEM platforms.
• Familiarity with software development frameworks like .NET.
• Existing subject matter expertise in Advanced Persistent Threats (APT).
