Next-Gen SIEM Resident Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $85,000 - $120,000

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned strategic customer accounts, maintaining trusted relationships with security teams.
• Guide customers through Next-Gen SIEM deployment, configuration, and integration.
• Design and implement custom detection rules, correlation searches, and tailored use cases.
• Optimize data ingestion strategies, log source configurations, and perform platform health checks.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on customer requirements.
• Assist with the migration of detection content from legacy SIEM platforms such as Splunk and QRadar.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security operations, SIEM administration, or security engineering.
• Proficiency with at least one major SIEM platform (e.g., LogScale, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Chronicle).
• Strong understanding of query languages such as SQL, SPL, KQL, or CQL.
• Experience with detection engineering, correlation rule development, and common log sources.
• Knowledge of cloud security across AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI and EDR concepts.
• Must be a U.S. candidate.

Nice to have

• Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon platform and Next-Gen SIEM.
• CrowdStrike certifications (CCFA, CCFH) or industry certifications (CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, CEH).
• Previous experience in a consulting or customer-facing technical role.
• Knowledge of SOAR platforms, security automation, and threat intelligence frameworks.
