What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to purchase order placement.
• Coordinate purchasing activities across sites to ensure optimal inventory levels and supply continuity.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers to meet quality and cost objectives.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and resolve delivery, invoice, or stock-related issues.
• Analyze purchasing trends and supplier spend data to support business decision-making.
• Support procurement projects, process improvements, and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in using ERP, MRP, or procurement management systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and procurement coordination.
• Must be available for an on-site role in Rowlands Gill or Hexham starting early August 2026.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting supplier negotiations and cost-reduction initiatives.
• CIPS qualification or working towards CIPS certification.
