Salary: $105,600 - $158,400 USD

What you will do

• Utilize FEA and numerical techniques to develop mechanical and electrophysiological cardiac models.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to define research goals and apply modeling tools to new test methods.
• Perform model verification and validation assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex modeling issues by engaging with peers and technical literature.
• Communicate technical assessments and analysis results through reports and presentations.
• Generate intellectual property and support the evaluation of existing IP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 7+ years of experience OR advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
• Expertise in cardiovascular physiology and multiphysics problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Python or equivalent scripting with AI tools.
• Experience with Abaqus CAE, LS-DYNA, CARP, or equivalent FEA software.
• Experience with segmentation tools such as Seg3d or Simpleware.

Nice to have

• PhD in engineering with emphasis in solid mechanics, FEA, or electrophysiology.
• Experience with CAD software like Pro/Engineer or Solidworks.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma practices and statistical methods.
• Ability to scope projects and manage resources effectively.
