What you will do

• Manage and grow a team of engineers while maintaining hands-on involvement in system design and code reviews.
• Lead the development of data ingestion, transformation, and lineage infrastructure for financial data.
• Guide the team in building complex accounting workflows, reporting engines, and AI-native user experiences.
• Establish engineering processes, rituals, and performance standards to support company growth.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to solve complex domain challenges and ensure high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong background in hands-on development.
• 2+ years of direct experience managing engineers, including hiring and performance management.
• Must be based in New York and able to work on-site.
• Strong technical credibility in system design and architecture.
• High motivation, agency, and a commitment to building high-quality products.
