What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Build secure AI architectures and reusable technical patterns for state agencies.
• Integrate advanced AI capabilities and platform services within Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Establish proof-of-concept success criteria and evaluate third-party AI solutions against operational metrics.
• Develop comprehensive dashboards and reporting models to track AI adoption, cost, and operational risks.
• Assist public sector entities in identifying AI opportunities and implementing responsible strategies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience developing with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar generative AI platforms.
• 2+ years of experience designing and implementing AI agents and RAG solutions.
• Proven experience defining AI use case success criteria, KPIs, and production monitoring protocols.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Ability to pass mandatory background checks and obtain CJIS security certification.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in CS, Data Science, or AI.
• Knowledge of artificial neural networks (ANNs), transformers, NLP, and image classification.
• Practical experience with database tools and data engineering for data cleaning and retrieval.
• Experience working on complex enterprise technology projects in the public sector.
