What you will do

• Architect production-ready AI solutions using LLMs, transformers, and agentic workflows.
• Design and iterate on RAG pipelines and prompts to optimize accuracy, latency, and cost-efficiency.
• Build multi-step agentic systems capable of complex reasoning and external API invocation.
• Deploy GenAI pipelines in production environments ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and guardrails to ensure model grounding, factuality, and safety.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and ML Ops teams to deliver end-to-end AI features.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in applied machine learning, specifically with NLP, transformers, or Generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python with a focus on clean, modular, production-grade code.
• Hands-on experience with LLM libraries such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or OpenAI API.
• Experience deploying and monitoring AI applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven ability to design multi-step agents with robust safeguards against loops and errors.
• Must be located in or able to work from Columbia, MD.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in transformer-based model architectures.
• Experience implementing AI privacy, bias mitigation, and safety guardrails.
