Salary: Gross annual salary starting at €64,000; actual salary agreed individually.

What you will do

• Take technical responsibility for planning, process design, commissioning, and optimization of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Select suitable unit operations and design complete treatment trains for semiconductor and battery cell industry clients.
• Advance wastewater treatment solutions, standards, and best practices as Technology Owner.
• Prepare process specifications, technical tenders, supplier selections, and technical proposals.
• Lead process engineering activities, support Process Engineers, and manage commissioning, FATs, and SATs.
• Represent technical expertise with clients, partners, and suppliers while supporting knowledge transfer and coaching.

Requirements

• Completed education in Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific or engineering discipline.
• More than 10 years of experience planning, designing, commissioning, and optimizing industrial wastewater treatment plants.
• Strong expertise in process selection, material and mass balances, chemical dosing, hydraulic design, and industrial wastewater treatment unit operations.
• Experience with equalization, neutralization, precipitation, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, lamella clarification, filtration, sludge treatment, and water recycling.
• Experience as a Lead Engineer, technical subject matter expert, or Technical Authority on complex industrial projects.
• Strong self-management, structured working methods, quality awareness, and willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• PhD in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of selective ion removal, membrane technologies, or biological treatment processes.
