Electrical Engineer – Technical Documentation – Systems Integration

What you will do

• Own the quality, strategic direction, and continuous development of technical documentation for Electrical Customer Engineering.
• Standardize and optimize editorial processes, publication pipelines, and documentation guidelines.
• Create, maintain, and structure standard-compliant modular documentation in SCHEMA ST4.
• Manage metadata concepts, taxonomies, and modular content reuse strategies.
• Coordinate translations with external technical translation providers and implement quality gates for content.
• Support integration across Oracle/Tacton ERP, EPLAN P8, Automation Studio, and Windchill PLM environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or graduation from a Technical College (HTL).
• Several years of professional experience in technical writing, content management, or systems engineering.
• Expert knowledge of component content management structures, ideally including hands-on SCHEMA ST4 experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder-influencing ability, presentation skills, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
