What you will do

• Research and produce news and current affairs content for TV, audio, digital, and social platforms.
• Generate original story ideas and apply editorial judgement tailored for audiences aged 11–16.
• Manage all production stages, including pre-production, studio and location filming, and post-production editing.
• Adapt storytelling approaches to ensure content is platform-specific and audience-focused.
• Collaborate with hirify.global colleagues to share content and implement best practices.

Requirements

• Experience creating compelling multi-platform content (TV, audio, digital) for young audiences.
• Proven ability to write engaging scripts that translate across video, audio, and digital formats.
• Knowledge of TV studio production and digital video creation.
• Fluency in English AND either Dari or Pashto.
• Ability to work from the London office.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience editing video using FCPX or QEdit.
• Experience in audio editing.
