Chief Technology Officer (Privacy): Leading the engineering department of Incogni to scale architecture and standardize delivery processes with an accent on compliance by design and operational excellence. Focus on scaling distributed systems, mentoring the management layer, and ensuring system resilience and security.

Location: Hybrid (office encouraged, up to 2 remote days/week) with a Work From Anywhere (WFA) policy allowing work from almost anywhere in the world.

Salary: €9,000 – €12,000 per month

What you will do

• Partner with technical leadership to define and champion a unified architectural roadmap.
• Standardize project management and delivery baselines across all teams for predictable execution.
• Implement observability standards and build security automations directly into CI/CD pipelines (AWS/EKS).
• Own Disaster Recovery (DRP) and Business Continuity (BCP) strategies, defining RTO/RPO targets.
• Mentor Engineering Managers, providing guidance to solve systemic problems autonomously.
• Collaborate in a product trio (Product, Engineering, Business) to align on strategy and execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience scaling engineering organizations and managing complex, distributed architecture transitions.
• Strong architectural skills to challenge technical proposals while empowering Tech Leads.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) and security/compliance for privacy-first products.
• Low-ego leadership approach focused on mentoring and building elite organizations.
• Strong consensus-building skills to align visions with the executive team and board.
