TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Manchester, UK) - 2 days a week in office

Salary: £39,900 – £44,500

What you will do

• Design and execute integration, API, and end-to-end tests to validate data flow across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with agile development teams to identify risks and ensure quality throughout the delivery process.
• Utilize Postman for API testing, defect investigation, and detailed quality reporting.
• Apply BDD and CI practices within Java/Oracle and Microsoft-based environments.
• Contribute to the organizational transition toward cloud-based technologies and agile delivery models.

Requirements

• Experience testing integrations, APIs, or backend services in Agile delivery environments.
• Hands-on proficiency with API testing tools, specifically Postman, for scenario execution and defect investigation.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end system testing and data validation.
• Knowledge of non-functional testing considerations, including performance, reliability, and security.
• Must be based in or be able to commute to Manchester for hybrid work.
• Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Awareness of AI tools and technologies to improve test preparation and efficiency.
• Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) and Continuous Integration (CI).
