What you will do

• Manage liability claims (EL/PL) from cradle to grave on behalf of various insurers.
• Investigate liability claims via desk research or by instructing loss adjusters.
• Negotiate claim settlements and authorize payments within defined limits.
• Ensure strict compliance with all legal timescales and client SLAs.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with external clients and stakeholders.
• Act as a mentor and coach to junior colleagues within the Claims Management department.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Stoke, UK.
• Proven experience handling injury claims within an insurance or legal environment.
• Technical knowledge of UK Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
• Expertise across various Casualty claim types, including Personal Injury, Construction, and Products Liability.
• Strong understanding of policy wording, terms and conditions, and reserving philosophies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills.
