What you will do

• Develop mechanical designs and technical documentation from concept through to commissioning.
• Perform engineering calculations and provide detailed system designs for delivery partners.
• Review consultant designs, contractor workshop drawings, and equipment selections for capacity and efficiency.
• Conduct site inspections and lead commissioning activities to optimize mechanical system performance.
• Develop technical engineering standards and contribute to R&D and design optimization initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers to support their technical growth and professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years specifically within the Data Centre MEP sector.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical system design principles.
• Proven experience applying international design standards, including ASHRAE.
• Must be based in Australia and available for 10–30% travel during project delivery phases.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multicultural teams and non-technical stakeholders.
