What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and product concepts.
• Create mechanical specifications to support reliable large-scale manufacturing and assembly.
• Build, test, and refine prototypes to improve fit, function, performance, and usability.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and project teams to bring ideas to fruition.
• Lead project work and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience in mechanical product design.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or Siemens NX.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, materials selection, and DFM/DFA principles.
• Experience with injection moulding, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
• Ability to use engineering simulation tools like ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation for structural/thermal analysis.
• Relevant engineering degree.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems such as SolidWorks PDM, Teamcenter, or Windchill.
