TL;DR

Junior Investment Analyst (Finance): Supporting the development and delivery of managed portfolio solutions with an accent on product governance and asset allocation. Focus on implementing trading rules, producing investment management MI, and maintaining discretionary managed portfolios.

Location: Hybrid (Manchester or London). Minimum 50% of working time per month spent in the office.

What you will do

• Maintain partnership managed portfolios with a focus on product governance and monitoring.
• Implement strategic and tactical asset allocation frameworks.
• Collaborate with the Research team to devise portfolio implementation strategies.
• Develop and produce investment management MI and regular literature.
• Execute portfolio implementation by adhering to trading rules.
• Support regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.

Requirements

• Degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline.
• Competence in the use of AI.
• Awareness of Mean Variance Optimisation.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced report writing and Microsoft Office skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Manchester or London to meet hybrid office requirements.
