What you will do
- Support NPI projects for the Temperature Sensors Business Unit from concept through production launch.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to support new product requirements in partnership with Engineering.
- Create, release, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for suppliers in China based on production and inventory targets.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive necessary corrective actions.
- Facilitate communication between the EII plant and Chinese suppliers.
Requirements
- Experience in procurement or buying within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to support NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.
- Strong communication skills to manage relations with Chinese suppliers.
- Must be based in Suzhou, China
