Marketing & Content Assistant (Digital Marketing)

Location: Remote, limited to South Africa or the Philippines

hirify.global supports a pre-launch wellness brand focused on post-event recovery and provides marketing support for a second health-tech business.

What you will do

• Edit founder-recorded TikTok videos into short-form content for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Create Canva carousel posts, static graphics, and other branded social media assets.
• Plan, schedule, and publish social media content using a monthly content calendar.
• Design email campaigns and automated customer journeys, including welcome series, abandoned-cart flows, and promotional campaigns.
• Draft, format, and publish blog content and imagery in Shopify.
• Research marketing trends and support campaigns across multiple channels.

Requirements

• Previous experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or social media management.
• Strong Canva skills and experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok.
• Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or similar tools.
• Experience working with Shopify.
• Excellent written English, strong organisation, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and turn briefs into polished customer-facing content.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer, wellness, health, or lifestyle brands.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
• Basic SEO and blog publishing knowledge.
• Experience in an early-stage startup or small business.
