Sr. Systems Engineer (Networking)

What you will do

• Lead pre-sales engineering, including network design and RF planning.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to end-customers and partners to position RUCKUS solutions.
• Develop architectural designs, best practices, and detailed bills of materials.
• Manage proof-of-concept evaluations and deliver technical demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to drive revenue and achieve quota goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Wi-Fi and switching vendor solutions (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus).
• Must reside in the Montreal region.
• Full bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
• Proficient in RF antenna signal propagation, 802.11 Wi-Fi (5, 6, 7), and IP routing/switching.
• Experience with Wi-Fi design tools like Ekahau and Hamina.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a related technical field.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, or JNCIA.
• Knowledge of DevOps, REST APIs, or cloud services (SaaS).
