Service Designer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Service Designer (Fintech): Creating seamless digital experiences for customers within the Embedded Finance design team with an accent on end-to-end customer lifecycles and service mapping. Focus on bridging the gap between product teams, engineering, and user needs to advance the practice of Service Design across the group.

Location: Hybrid (London) - must spend at least two days per week (40% of time) at one of the office sites

Salary: £72,702 - £80,780

What you will do

• Collaborate with agile teams to uncover priorities, visualize outcomes, and define project scope.
• Shape pivotal initiatives using colleague, customer, and market insights to enhance propositions.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to ensure business context, needs, and risks are properly understood.
• Research and document current and future state services to optimize customer experiences.
• Apply systems thinking to design cohesive services across products, processes, people, and platforms.
• Active participation in the design community to embed design principles across customer journeys.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a service designer.
• Strong proficiency in research and design thinking methods.
• Ability to apply systems thinking to understand and design for complex ecosystems.
• Experience communicating complex ideas and implications to senior, technical, and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work from London on a hybrid basis.
