What you will do
- Lead end-to-end service design initiatives across complex patient pathways and operational environments.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborative design sessions with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare stakeholders.
- Map, redesign, and optimise interconnected journeys, organisational structures, and operational processes.
- Translate ambiguous challenges into tangible service improvements using service blueprints and ecosystem mapping.
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to embed user-centred thinking throughout the development lifecycle.
- Utilise AI-enabled tools to support research synthesis, service modelling, and rapid prototyping.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK with the ability to travel regionally to healthcare sites.
- Proven experience delivering service design within healthtech, digital health, or large-scale healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of operational realities, governance, and stakeholder complexity in healthcare systems.
- Demonstrable expertise in service design methodologies including journey mapping and operating models.
- Experience working directly with NHS organisations, trusts, or public healthcare providers is highly desirable.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery in stakeholder-heavy environments.
