What you will do

• Develop AI agent capabilities for service, claims, and operations using industry-leading conversational AI platforms.
• Build and maintain APIs connecting AI vendors to Salesforce, Snapsheet, NICE, and Auth0.
• Conduct vendor evaluation spikes, build proofs-of-concept, and contribute to platform selection decisions.
• Create data export pipelines from AI platforms to the data warehouse for downstream analytics.
• Implement observability metrics to track integration performance and cost-to-serve reporting.
• Manage go-live operations, including routing configuration, traffic management, and fallback validation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in service-oriented architectures.
• Proficiency with Postgres (or equivalent relational databases) and AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Comfort working with third-party vendor SDKs and APIs, including those with limited documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, Insurtech, or other regulated industries.
• Integration experience with Salesforce, NICE CXOne, or conversational AI platforms.
