What you will do

• Lead the architectural evolution and backend execution for investigative workflows.
• Design and deploy orchestration backends managing complex LLM tool-calling, function execution, and reasoning workflows.
• Engineer high-throughput integration pipelines and secure connectors linking conversational interfaces to core microservices.
• Partner with ML and Data Engineering to bridge unstructured LLM outputs with structured internal APIs.
• Build production-grade, low-latency infrastructure capable of handling high-volume data streams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript for building scalable backend web services and microservices.
• Deep expertise with PostgreSQL, OLAP databases, and Redis for complex data access patterns.
• Practical experience implementing agentic workflows, function calling, and prompt engineering with LLM APIs.
• Strong background in cloud-native infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Ability to translate ambiguous technical problems into clear architectural roadmaps.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks or vector search.
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
