Logistics Coordinator

What you will do

• Receive and verify customer shipping instructions and documents, create jobs in the Meridian system, and maintain accurate shipment records.
• Prepare and submit customs declarations, monitor approvals, and coordinate with customs authorities or brokers.
• Submit import/export shipping declarations through port systems and monitor container movement through gate-in.
• Coordinate with transporters, warehouse teams, customers, and port authorities to resolve delays and discrepancies.
• Verify shipment details for billing, prepare billing instructions, support invoicing, and complete job-closing procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or an equivalent field.
• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations, preferably in an export department.
• Knowledge of customs declaration procedures, port systems, and import/export documentation.
• Experience with logistics systems; Meridian experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, planning, time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, follow team lead instructions, and monitor work status after hours when required.
