Logistics Coordinator (Customs Clearance)

What you will do

• Review shipping documents and prepare customs declarations through Malaysia's National Single Window.
• Classify goods, determine customs value, and calculate duties, sales tax, excise duties, and other applicable charges.
• Coordinate customs inspections, cargo examinations, permits, approvals, cargo release, and delivery order collection.
• Work with shipping lines, airlines, ports, freight forwarders, hauliers, warehouses, and government agencies.
• Resolve clearance delays and discrepancies and respond to customs requests for additional information.
• Maintain customs records, payment documentation, clearance reports, and audit compliance files.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or an equivalent field.
• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in export operations.
• Knowledge of customs documentation, tariff classification, customs valuation, permits, and Malaysian customs compliance.
• Ability to multitask, work beyond standard hours when required, and monitor work status after hours.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow the team lead's instructions.
