What you will do

• Prepare and submit customs declarations (K1, K2, K8, K9) via the National Single Window (uCustoms/Dagang Net).
• Ensure proper tariff classification (HS Code) and determine customs value based on Malaysian requirements.
• Manage compliance with the Customs Act 1967, Sales Tax Act 2018, and Service Tax Act 2018.
• Coordinate customs inspections, cargo examinations, and resolve clearance delays to obtain cargo release.
• Liaise with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM), port authorities, and other government agencies.
• Provide advisory services on Rules of Origin, Free Trade Agreements, and import/export procedures.

Requirements

• Expertise in Malaysian Customs regulations and legislative requirements.
• Experience using uCustoms and Dagang Net systems.
• Ability to handle complex HS Code classification and customs valuation.
• Experience coordinating with OGAs such as SIRIM, MAQIS, MITI, and MOH.
• Must be based in Malaysia to perform physical runner duties and attend customs inspections.
