Software Engineer III (Python)

What you will do

• Evaluate, scope, and build features for Threat Detection, Vulnerability Management, and Compliance Automation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity researchers, product managers, and leadership to iterate on product definitions.
• Work with the Architecture team to improve platform maturity and technology design.
• Advance quality engineering processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Collaborate with security and IT professionals to ensure secure system architectures.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of programming experience with Python.
• 2+ years of experience in system design, architecture, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience building APIs using REST, GraphQL, Django, or Flask.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and Relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy).
• Knowledge of TDD, CI/CD tooling, and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development and cloud technologies.
• Experience in a leading role for complex software delivery.
• Background in distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems.
