What you will do

• Design and maintain enterprise-grade Python solutions and REST APIs.
• Modernize complex legacy workflows and data structures for improved sustainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Develop database integration patterns using DB2 and SQL.
• Implement data engineering solutions including test data preparation and synthetic data generation.
• Document technical decisions and operational procedures to support knowledge retention.

Requirements

• Must be based in Romania.
• Extensive experience in enterprise Python development and REST API design.
• Strong proficiency with relational databases, specifically DB2 and SQL.
• Proven experience with cloud-native development and containerized deployments.
• Practical knowledge of Java and KornShell.
• Ability to analyze and modernize legacy systems and workflows.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Cobol.
