IT System Administrator – AI

Location: Remote within the United States; availability to work Monday through Friday in the US Eastern or Central time zones.

What you will do

• Set up, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MCP servers connecting AI systems with internal tools and data sources.
• Configure and govern AI features in enterprise SaaS platforms, including Atlassian Rovo, Slack AI, Okta AI, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini.
• Provision and support AI agent infrastructure, including service accounts, API keys, permissions, rate limits, and access audits.
• Administer company IT systems and SaaS tools across onboarding, offboarding, access management, feature rollouts, cleanups, and lifecycle reviews.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, access maps, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and system documentation.
• Collaborate with Security, People Operations, Engineering, and IT Support on ITSM, automation, reliability, and AI adoption.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States and able to work US Eastern or Central time-zone hours.
• 5+ years of enterprise IT systems administration experience.
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing MCP servers, deploying AI agents, and configuring AI features in enterprise SaaS tools.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting, Git, JSON/YAML configuration, API integrations, credentials, and permission scoping.
• Familiarity with Docker and troubleshooting containerized services, plus experience with Okta, OAuth, and SSO.
• Ability to manage Kanban-style work, address technical debt, train IT Support staff, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Certifications in AI platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Anthropic.
• Experience with MCP servers or similar tooling.
