Salary: $141,900 – $166,000

What you will do

• Build and own backend product capabilities for Stytch’s identity platform on Twilio, including core authentication flows.
• Develop and ship new API surfaces for agentic and non-human identity use cases.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate customer needs into high-impact roadmap features.
• Drive technical decisions by authoring design documents and performing rigorous code reviews.
• Enhance production resilience and quality through robust observability and incident remediation.
• Mentor other engineers through pairing and knowledge-sharing to raise the team's technical bar.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing and operating high-scale, mission-critical cloud production systems.
• Proficiency in a modern programming language with a commitment to high-quality coding standards.
• Extensive experience in RESTful API design and development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional industry experience.
• Ability to work non-standard, on-call rotation, weekend, and holiday hours.
• Must be based in the US or Latin America.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, and DynamoDB.
• Experience building developer tools or SDKs.
• Experience owning products consumed directly by paying customers.
