Salary: $97,000 – $108,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead cataloging and enrichment of priority data domains, including lineage and sensitivity documentation.
• Design and maintain data quality monitoring frameworks and observability patterns.
• Manage the business glossary and critical data elements to ensure alignment across teams.
• Operationalize data trust processes such as stewardship onboarding and certification reviews.
• Perform advanced data profiling and lineage tracing to support compliance and AI enablement.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on governance best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada.
• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or Mathematics.
• 3–5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or metadata management.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with enterprise data catalog platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional workstreams and influence stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries (HIPAA, PIPEDA).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Databricks, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
• Relevant certifications such as CDMP or DCAM.
