Salary: $115,000 – $127,000 annual

What you will do

• Lead cataloging and enrichment of priority data domains, including lineage and sensitivity labeling.
• Design and implement data quality monitoring frameworks and observability patterns.
• Maintain business glossaries and critical data elements to ensure alignment across teams.
• Operationalize data trust processes, including stewardship onboarding and policy enforcement.
• Perform advanced data profiling and lineage tracing to support compliance and AI initiatives.
• Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on data management best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or Mathematics.
• 3–5 years of experience in data governance, data quality, or metadata management.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with enterprise data catalog platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM.
• Ability to communicate complex governance findings to both business and technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare or highly regulated industries (HIPAA, PIPEDA).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms like Databricks, Azure, or AWS.
• Experience supporting AI/ML initiatives from a governance perspective.
• Relevant certifications such as CDMP or DCAM.
