HSE Specialist (Renewable Energy)

What you will do

• Lead and monitor implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs to prevent workplace injuries and accidents.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Perform comprehensive root cause analysis of HSE incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate the Safety Committee and deliver HSE training programs to manufacturing employees.
• Conduct regular safety and environmental audits and inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Develop and maintain the Plant Safety Plan and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in West Branch, IA, US
• 2+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED (required); Technical or HSE degree (preferred).
• Fluent English proficiency required for communication and safety instructions.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to complete OSHA 30 and knowledge of federal, state, and local HSE regulations.

Nice to have

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• OSHA or other relevant HSE certifications.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP systems and ISO 9000:2000 Quality System.
