What you will do

• Implement and maintain procedures to minimize environmental impact regarding chemicals, waste, energy, CO2, and water.
• Drive landfill waste reduction (zero landfill) and decarbonization efforts in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead and maintain ISO 14001 certification, coordinating internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, including RCRA and SWPPP.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies (e.g., TCEQ) and represent the company during inspections.
• Develop and deliver training programs to foster a strong environmental culture across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment with a focus on environmental compliance.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and RCRA (Hazardous Waste) programs.
• Working knowledge of Net Zero strategies, carbon footprinting, and GHG accounting.
• Must not require international relocation to the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 50001 (Energy Management).
