Salary: $79,326 – $85,000 annually

What you will do

  • Design and launch a workforce development program including service design, eligibility criteria, and success metrics.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with workforce development boards, employers, and government agencies such as the Montana Department of Labor & Industry.
  • Develop a geographic expansion strategy to reach rural and dispersed populations across the state of Montana.
  • Oversee the delivery of job readiness training, placement support, and culturally responsive retention services.
  • Manage program budgets, ensure grant compliance, and hire and train supporting staff.

Requirements

  • University degree (B.A.) required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program development, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Experience launching workforce development, employment, or job readiness programs.
  • Must be based in Montana (priority for Helena or Missoula).
  • Proven success in fundraising and grant writing.
  • English: Fluent (C1) required.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience engaging with WIOA-funded programs.
  • Proficiency in a second language.
  • Experience working with refugee, immigrant, or other diverse low-income populations.
